SUMMER DAZE

So summer has come and gone once again! I can't believe I am old enough to have a child going into second grade. We are not ready for school to start, but I am sure once we are in the routine of things it will all work out. Kimberly will be starting pre-school and she is so excited! This summer has been really busy. We had our cousins from Mississippi come to visit for Derek's sister's wedding in June. Also during that time Kimberly had her leg broken on the trampoline at Derek's mom's house. That changed our entire summer plan. Oh well, we made it through and she now has had her cast off for 2 weeks. In July my little brother Trevor was married to Chanda. It was a beautiful wedding and we wish them all the best and love them lots. My Aunt Ellen stayed with us during the wedding. She helped with laundry and dishes etc. Then we endured the rest of July until Kimberly would get her cast off on August 3. We went to Las Vegas and stayed in Lake Las Vegas at Loews. If you are looking for a nice pool for kids I would suggest it. We had a lot of fun. I was recently called into Young Women's so I am busy with that and loving it. Derek was called as a Ward Clerk, we are excited for our journey through life this next year. It has been a great summer and now BACK TO SCHOOL!
